Created in 1970 to protect customers of member broker/dealer firms, SIPC protects customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash). As an added service, Brinker Capital Securities LLC, through its custodians, has arranged for additional commercial coverage of any remaining net equity balance in your accounts at no charge. The commercial insurer for this coverage is Lloyds of London. Please note that neither coverage protects against losses from change in the market values of investments.
